CONSULTING

LOMAP’s free confidential consulting services are available to all attorneys registered to practice in Massachusetts, individuals, including law students, who are planning on practicing in Massachusetts, and individuals who are seeking to reenter the practice of law.  Depending on the individual needs of the client, LOMAP will provide short telephone consultation sessions, we can set up appointments at our office in Boston, or, for firm audits, LOMAP will travel to the client’s office. 

Examples of substantive areas in which LOMAP consults with its clients are (1) how to set up a new practice; (2) how to improve an existing practice; and (3) how to transition out of a practice in compliance with all ethical obligations and also protecting your assets.  The in-office consultations are most effective when the client completes a law-office practice audit and involves all key office personnel.
